Print a design - ITCU Operator's Manual June 02, 2022 09:27 Updated v2.0.0 To print a design This article will cover the following points: To log in to the ITCU To log in to the Operator Panel from a web browser To log out from the touch screen To import designs from a USB stick To select a design for the print job To pull the thread To start the print job at a specific stitch number To manage unintended stops To stop the print job . To log in If Operator pin code is deleted or not set, the Operator panel will open directly, without showing the login screen. Enter the pin code at the display Note: The pin code is set by the service technician during installation. Default pin code is 12345 Press the green check mark. .. To log in to the Operator Panel from a web browser Enter the IP address of the unit in a web browser. You can find the IP address in the top of theoperator panel of the unit. You can also find the IP address in Network settings. For example, http://192.168.1.29 Enter the credentials and select login (A) Default Operator panel login is: Username: operator, Password: 12345 ... To log out from the touch screen Select Settings. Select Account in the settings list. Select the Lock button (A). .... To import designs from an USB Insert an USB with .CSE files to one of the USB ports (A) of the Coloreel ITCU. Select Embroideries in the operator panel. Refer to Operator panel overview. Select Import from usb (B) in the storage menu. Select a file and tap on the Import button (C). The file is imported to local files on the Coloreel ITCU and you can view it in the Embroideries gallery. Tap on the Close button (D) to close the import window. ..... To select a design for the print job All designs uploaded to the Coloreel ITCU are displayed in the Embroideries gallery. Select Embroideries in the operator panel. Operator panel overview. Select the Local tab (A). Note: If you want to upload a new design to the Coloreel ITCU, refer to To import designs from a USB stick Select a design (B). The green border indicates that the design is selected. Tap/click on the forward button (C). A pop-up window shows for the CCP setup. Select the CCP setup in the drop down list and tap/click on the Continue with current setupbutton. The selected design shows. Refer to To manage settings for more information on CCP setups. Wait for the Coloreel ITCU unit to warm up (D). Refer to To manage settings to start the warming up process in advance. When the warming up is finished, the Start button becomes green and clickable. During the warm up of the Coloreel ITCU, thread the embroidery machine. Tap/click on the Start button (E). A pop-up window will ask you to pull the thread. Refer to To pull the thread. ...... To pull the thread When you have started a print job, a pop-up window will ask you to pull the thread.Pull the thread until the progress ring (F) reaches 100%. Pull the start marker on the thread to through the needle of the embroidery machine. Continue topull the thread until the end of the start marker is 70 mm from the needle. Start the embroidery machine. When a print job is finished, the Coloreel ITCU will automatically print a new start marker for thesame embroidery again. To start a print job for a different embroidery, you must stop the currentprint job, start the new print job and pull the thread again, to the start marker for the new embroidery.During print, the stitch number indicates the Coloreel unit's progress through the print job. Refer toTo stop the print job for more information on how to stop a print job. ....... To start the print job at a specific stitch number After a thread break, is it possible to restart the printing procedure at a specific stitch number. Before you start the print job, click on the Start at stitch button (A). Enter the same stitch number in the stitch field (B) as the stitch number displayed on the embroidery machine. You can also use the +/- buttons or click on the keypad to enter the number. If you enter the number on the keypad, click on the check mark on the keypad to confirm. Click on the Start button (C). ........ To manage unintended stops An unintended stop is, for example, a thread break or when the embroidery machine runs out of bobbin thread. Reverse the embroidery machine. Select Start at stitch, refer to To start the print job at a specific stitch number. Pull the thread until the end of the start marker is 70 mm from the needle. Start the embroidery machine. ......... To stop the print job Note: Always stop the embroidery machine before stopping a print job on the Coloreel unit. Check the stitch number in the Coloreel Status Bar to ensure that the print job is complete. Select the Stop button. The Coloreel ITCU will return to Hot Idle status.
