Nozzle check January 16, 2023 08:37 Updated What is a Nozzle check? A nozzle check is a way to determine if the printer heads are working well enough. Every printer head has 192 small nozzles that apply the ink to the thread. The Nozzle check will allow checking every single one of them. Please reach out to your Distributor for support if there are more than eight malfunctioning nozzles. Note: the nozzle check is not a part of routine maintenance but a way to troubleshoot issues How to perform a Nozzle check Go to "Auto Calibration" in the Service Tool, left-hand menu Choose Nozzle Check in the drop-down menu (B) 2. Hold a piece of glossy paper between the thread and the nozzle head.3. Pull the paper towards yourself and pull the thread in the direction of the thread feed.4. Make sure that there is color in each section.
