What colors can the Coloreel ITCU produce?

Digital coloring using CMYK sublimation inks will be limited to the CMYK color space hence not all colors are possible to print.

• In short, all colors that your standard office color printer can print, you can produce on the Coloreel thread.
• The image below shows one example of what
  • colors the human eye can see
  • colors your monitor using the RGB color space (screen or monitor) can show
  • colors a CMYK-printer can produce.

Note: The color space when using a sublimation CMYK print, as we use with the Coloreel technology, will be slightly wider than the CMYK area displayed in the image.

The coloring software, Coloreel Studio, includes a soft-proofing tool that will guide the user to use safe colors and to suggest alternatives when the wanted color is out of the gamut (outside the available color space).

Using the Color Match function in Coloreel Studio might help you to find a good enough color.
