6 Swatch printing This article content is from the Coloreel Full Operator Manual, version 5971 Rev. D 2023-12-20. 6.1 To upload a swatch design 1. Select a .CSL swatch library file on your computer and upload it to Local files in the ITCU. When it is uploaded, you can see the file in the Swatches tab. Note: CSL files are color swatch library files produced with Coloreel Studio. 6.2 To start and stop a swatch printing Use the swatch printing function to print a solid-color swatch, a gradient swatch, or a multi-point swatch directly on the thread. Note: The swatch printing function is available for single-unit printing only. 1. Select Swatch printing in the operator panel. Refer to 3.8. 2. Select the Local tab (A) or another of the storage tabs. Note: If you want to upload a new design to the ITCU, refer to 6.1. 3. Select a design (B). The swatch print screen shows. 4. Click on the Swatch length (C) to enter a number; we recommend a very high number. Note: Entering length is only an option for gradient swatches. If you are printing a solid color, you do not have to enter a length. 5. Wait for the ITCU to warm up. The Start button becomes green and clickable when the warming-up process is complete. Refer to 9.3 to start or stop the warming-up process manually. 6. Click on the button. The coloring starts. a. (D) show the coloring progress. b. Click the Stop button (E) to stop the swatch printing job. c. Click the Pause button (F) to pause the swatch printing job. 7. Start the embroidery machine. Note that there is no start marker when you use swatch print.
