Tajima DG software - Create a new Coloreel Gradient Swatch April 04, 2023 13:19 Updated To create a solid color swatch Open a Coloreel Library Tab (Click Menu Bar - Manage - Coloreel Libraries) On the Coloreel toolbar, click the Add button +. Select Gradient or Striped Swatch from the drop-down menu that appears. The Swatches dialog opens. To add a color change, do the following: Right-click the color spectrum where you want to place it. A new gradient step slider is inserted at the selected position; at the same time, the Swatch Picker dialog will open. Select the Coloreel Library you want to use from the Library drop-down list. The set of colors that are available in the dialog will change accordingly. Select a color from the library. The Swatch Picker dialog will now close; you will see that the selected color is now included in the gradient. Repeat the step again to add more color changes to the gradient, if desired. You can add up to a total of 10 colors. Click and drag the slider(s) to change the proportions of each color. Alternatively, click Distribute evenly to make the proportions of each color equal. (Optional) Click the Flip button to reverse the order of the colors in the gradient. When you are finished adjusting the swatch, click OK to save it. Saving Coloreel Swatches. Once you have created a custom Coloreel Swatch, you can save it to a library for use with embroidery or text segments. The Swatch "Save as" dialog allows you to select both the library you want to save the swatch to and also to give it a name. Note: It is important to give a unique name to every swatch. Press Ctrl+S, or select File - Save, to save the Coloreel Library file with the new swatch included.
