Tajima DG software - Edit a Coloreel Gradient Swatch March 30, 2023 11:01 Updated How to Edit a Coloreel Gradient Swatch in an existing library Click the Menu Bar - Manage - Coloreel Libraries to open the list of available Swatch Libraries. Select the library to edit and click Open. The swatch library will open as a tab in the design workspace with designated tools to manage swatches. With those tools, you can add, insert, delete, import, and edit swatches. You can also move the order of swatches and rename the Library name. Select a Gradient Swatch to edit. Click (or double-click the Swatch) to bring up the Swatches dialog. This effect Swatches dialog will appear: From this dialog, you can see and edit the existing gradient by changing the colors Right-click the color square and click Edit. Choose the library from the Swatch picker dialog appearing. Click the Swatch you want to use, the dialog will close, and the gradient swatches dialog will be updated with the new color. By clicking the "Flip" button, you can mirror the colors on the gradient. You can add a new color to the gradient by right-clicking the preview strip where you want the new color. Add color from the Swatch picker. You can add up to eight shades between the start and end colors, giving you max ten colors. You can control how colors are distributed by dragging a color square inside the preview strip. Clicking the "Distribute evenly" button will place the colors at an exact distance on the preview strip. To remove a color from the gradient, right-click the color square and choose "Remove." Click OK to apply the edits, and a Save Swatch dialog will appear where you can choose a name for the edited Swatch. Click OK again to save and return to the Library tab. Click Save (Ctrl+S) to save the Library.
